In my test run on Atlantis The Forgotten Kingdom, the gameplay felt volatile, so not a whole lot goes on a lot of the time, then the wild reel wakes up and keeps you in the game. Free spins were extremely hard to trigger, and even when I got in, the chosen wild symbol was not guaranteed to land. The mermaids are beautifully drawn to the point of distraction, with mysterious sound effects and angelic voices, but it can come off a bit shallow and cheesy, Hooters under the sea at times.
