What to Expect from Farmtastic
Farmtastic is a farm-themed online slot from Red Tiger that plays out on a 6x6 grid using the cluster pays mechanic. Instead of traditional paylines, you need to land 5 or more matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically to form a winning cluster. The setting is a cheerful countryside farmyard, complete with hay bales, a red barn, an old-school tractor, and a cast of wide-eyed cartoon animals. It is a light, feel-good sort of game that does not take itself too seriously.
You can bet anywhere from 0.10 up to 100 per spin, so it suits a broad range of budgets. The slot runs on a medium to low volatility math model with a hit frequency of around 31.68%, meaning you will see wins land fairly regularly. The default RTP sits at 95.76%, which is a touch below the industry average, though operators may set it lower, so it is worth checking.

Farmtastic Symbols and Paytable
The lower-paying symbols on the reels are all fresh produce - leaves, bell peppers, carrots, beets, and corn. A cluster of 5 matching low pays awards between 0.1x and around 1x your bet, scaling up to between 1x and 7x for clusters of 20 or more. The premium symbols are the farm animals: chickens, sheep, pigs, cows, and horses. Landing 20 or more of the same premium symbol in a cluster can pay anywhere from 8x up to a hefty 60x your stake.
Keep an eye out for the golden star Wild, which is called the Wild Progress Symbol. It substitutes for all regular pay symbols and plays a key role in unlocking the game's special features, which we will get into below. The scatter symbol looks like a ball of hay tied with a pink ribbon, and landing 3 of them triggers the free spins round.

How the Farmtastic Progress Blocks Work
This is probably the most interesting part of Farmtastic. On the right side of the grid, you will notice 5 progress block meters, each linked to a different animal or multiplier feature. Whenever a Wild Progress Symbol lands, it fills a position on one of these meters with a star. Only one progress wild can appear per chain reaction, and they only show up in the base game while there are still empty meter positions to fill.
Each meter needs a different number of stars to complete. The Chicken feature requires 6 stars and drops random 1x1 chicken wilds onto the grid. The Sheep feature needs 5 stars and places a 2x2 sheep wild. The Pig feature takes 4 stars for a 3x3 pig wild, while the Cow feature needs just 3 stars for a massive 4x4 cow wild. Finally, the Multiplier feature only requires 2 stars, applying a 2x multiplier to all wins for the remainder of that chain reaction. Trigger the multiplier a second time and it jumps to 5x.
Once a meter is fully completed, its feature can randomly activate during play. The bigger wild symbols are genuinely useful in a cluster pays game like this, as they can bridge gaps between symbols and help form much larger clusters than you would manage otherwise.
Bonus Buy Option

You are guaranteed to land 3 Scatter symbols and enter Free Spins. The price for buying this feature is 50x the current stake.
Farmtastic Free Spins Feature
Land 3 hay bale scatter symbols anywhere on the reels during the base game and you will trigger 10 free spins. During the bonus round, any of the progress block features can activate at random, and they do so more frequently than in normal play. That means you have a better chance of seeing those oversized animal wilds land on the grid, which is where the real potential for bigger wins lies.
If a single scatter symbol appears during free spins, you get an extra 3 spins added to your total. There is also a Feature Buy option available, letting you jump straight into the free spins round for a cost of 50x your bet. The RTP when buying in is 95.68%, just slightly under the base game figure.
Farmtastic RTP, Volatility, and Max Win
The default RTP for Farmtastic is 95.76%, though Red Tiger has built in four different RTP settings - 95.76%, 94.74%, 92.78%, and 90.73% - so the version you play could vary depending on the operator. Always worth a quick check in the game rules before you start spinning. Volatility is rated around low to medium, so expect a steady stream of smaller wins rather than long dry spells followed by massive payouts.
The maximum win caps out at around 2,900x to 2,920x your total bet. That is on the modest side compared to many modern slots, and it is probably the biggest drawback here. If you are chasing life-changing sums, this is not really the game for that. But if you prefer a more relaxed session where your balance does not swing wildly, the maths suit that style nicely.

Final Thoughts on Farmtastic
Farmtastic from Red Tiger is a pleasant, easy-going slot with a genuinely charming design and a decent set of features built around collecting wilds and growing them bigger. The chain reaction mechanic keeps each spin feeling active, and the progress blocks give you something to work towards during the base game. The free spins round, with its increased feature frequency, is where things get most exciting.
The main limitation is the win cap. At roughly 2,900x, it holds the game back from delivering truly dramatic moments. Still, if you enjoy cluster pays slots with a laid-back atmosphere and do not need enormous max win potential to have a good time, Farmtastic is a solid pick. It does what it does well - just do not expect fireworks.
