Giga Blast Technical Overview
Giga Blast utilises a 6-reel, 4-row grid structure with 50 fixed paylines evaluating wins from left to right. Developed by Red Tiger, the mathematical model is characterised by high volatility and a default Return to Player (RTP) of 95.73%. The game sets a betting range from £0.10 to £4.00 per spin, catering to conservative bankroll management rather than high-roller strategies. The maximum theoretical payout is capped at 23,579.1x the stake, a significant figure given the narrow betting limits.
The core gameplay relies on the interplay between standard payline mechanics and external modifiers located outside the main grid. Unlike standard cluster-pay or cascading grid slots often associated with this developer's high-variance output, Giga Blast maintains a static reel set where symbol substitution and transformation drive the variance. The hit frequency is moderate, necessitating patience for the specific alignment of modifier indicators to generate substantial returns.

Paytable and Symbol Values
The paytable defines ten regular paying symbols, split clearly into low-value card ranks and high-value planetary icons. The low-tier symbols (10, J, Q, K, A) offer returns ranging from 0.4x to 1x the bet for a full six-of-a-kind combination. The high-tier symbols are represented by five distinct planets: Grey, Green, Blue, Red, and Orange. The Orange planet serves as the premium standard symbol, awarding 5x the stake for six matching symbols on a payline.
The Star Wild is the most valuable asset on the grid, substituting for all paying symbols and paying 25x the stake for a six-oak combination. Crucially, the Star Wild interacts with the game's modifier system; its value is not merely in substitution but in its capacity to carry multipliers and trigger structural changes to the grid layout through the Wild Blast feature.

Wild Blast Modifier Mechanics
The primary mechanic, Wild Blast, operates via random indicators located above each reel and to the left of each row. On any spin, these indicators may activate, applying specific modifiers to any Star Wilds landing within the corresponding reel or row. The modifiers include Horizontal Explosion (transforms adjacent lateral symbols into Wilds), Vertical Explosion (transforms adjacent vertical symbols into Wilds), and Multipliers (2x, 3x, or 5x).
Complex interactions occur when a Star Wild lands at the intersection of active row and reel indicators. If both apply explosion modifiers, a double explosion triggers, converting two adjacent symbols in the respective directions rather than one. Multipliers are additive; if a Wild receives a multiplier from both axes, the values are summed before application. Furthermore, a defined order of operations exists: multipliers apply first, followed by explosions. Any Wilds generated by an exploding Multiplier Wild inherit the original multiplier value.
If an explosion targets a position already occupied by a Star Wild, the existing Wild's multiplier increases by +1x. All Wild transformations resolve in sequence-initial Wilds explode first, followed by any newly created Wilds that fall under active modifier zones. This chain reaction is critical for approaching the game's maximum win potential.

Free Spins and Bonus Buy
Landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 Scatter symbols triggers the Free Spins bonus, awarding 10, 15, 20, or 25 spins respectively. The mechanics during the bonus round mirror the base game, with the distinction that Wild Blast modifiers activate with greater frequency. A retrigger logic is in place where landing 3 Scatters during the feature adds 5 extra spins to the tally.
For jurisdictions where permitted, Giga Blast offers two Feature Buy options. Players may pay 3x the total bet to guarantee a spin with at least one active Wild Blast modifier, or 75x the bet to instantly trigger the Free Spins round with a guaranteed minimum of 3 Scatters. It is noted that utilizing the Feature Buy slightly alters the mathematical profile, resulting in an RTP of 95.72%.
